The Dominica Hotel & Tourism Association (DHTA) hosted a Social Media Marketing Seminar this week to help its members take advantage of free marketing opportunities using social networking sites.
Held at the Fort Young Hotel, the session was facilitated by Delphis Ltd. and included information on how to use Facebook appropriately to market your business, as well as using photo sharing & video sharing sites such as Flickr and Youtube.

I really learned a tremendous amount about social networking in its various forms. I am excited about pursuing this line of communication in my personal and professional endeavors.
After the Seminar, participants began setting up Facebook pages for their businesses. The first few are here, we will add to the list as it grows!
