Dominica’s Marah Walter was crowned ‘Miss Caribbean World’ in the British Virgin Islands last Saturday, Sep. 20th. She defeated 17 other contestants, earning the titles for Best Talent, Best Costume, Best Evening Wear, Best Swimwear and Miss Popularity.
This was her third title in recent months, having been crowned Miss Caribbean Culture and Miss Jaycees 2008 earlier in the year.
What’s next for Miss Dominica 2008? Well, she hopes to take her new-found confidence and move on to the Miss Universe competition. Good luck Marah, we’ll all be routing for you!
