My rainbow coloured jelly sandals have now officially been swapped for sensible hiking sandals.
Ones where I can climb about on rocks, wade through rivers and make my way to the most breath-taking place I think I have ever been to.
Being a novice hiker taking a few breathers on the way was essential, not only to calm my wobbly legs, but to observe the magical surroundings, the rainforest’s amazing scenery, the sound of water falling from the Mother and Father falls.
The sulphur hot pools in the middle of the jungle are something else.
Spas and saunas are relaxing, but these pools take it to the next level.
