I just stumbled on this site as i was trying to find anyone who may be related or have a connection with my family in Dominica, and what ive read written about my Island is very flattening, my mum's from Mahaut though she resides here now, ive never been to my beautiful island yet but what ive heard and read i am looking forward to visiting mother's homeland one day, though the name is popular does anyone know who may be related to a Vincent Williams, please contact me, thanks.

I visited Dominica in 1986 and it continues to be the best vacation I've ever had. I learned of Dominica from a friend who taught french there. It is an amazing island.

I found out about the natural beauty of the Commonwealth of Dominica through a BBC program, "Fast Track" aired recently. Since then I have been visiting the net to see photographs and learn details of this wonderful place, which I hope to visit with my wife some day. I am very proud of my ancestry. I have lived in the UK for the past 34 years, but, Dominica will always be my home. It may or may not superise fellow Dominicans of the many times I have to explain the differences between 'Dominica' & 'The Dominican Republic', because of the number of non-West Indians who do not realise the two are not the same.
