About
Description:

Dominica’s longest river, the Layou, has several areas of interest. Hot water at Glo Cho (about one mile upriver from the bridge), places for tubing, several good spots to bathe, and generally beautiful scenery.

The river is used for river tubing and kayaking and there are pockets of lovely pools of “bassier” along the way.

Note that the Glo Cho was completely submerged during Tropical Storm Erika in August, 2015 so it is no longer accessible. However, it has disappeared and returned in the past, so we will keep you updated.
