Following the success of the 2001 CHEMIN LETANG hike, and helping to celebrate Dominica's 25th anniversary of Independence, Sunday October 26th 2003 will see the Roseau to Rosalie Independence hike.

The hike, estimated to take between 5-7 hours, will start with a brief service in Roseau at 5am, after which hikers will set off in groups at intervals. There will be drinks and snacks all along the trail, and the option of taking a bus for part of the hike! On reaching Rosalie, there will be an optional Creole Feast for the walkers.

Fees for the hike (provisional): EC$30 to do the basic hike; EC$60 for the hike plus a t-shirt and the Feast.
